Behind the Scenes: Ryan Wolf Cover Story

Creating a cover story for Stand By LIve takes a team of graphic artists, editors, videographers, audio specialists and more.  It all begins with selecting a cover story personality.  Our Executive Team goes over suggestions submitted and makes a selection.  The cover story personality is contacted and a date set for the interview.

Things get started early on interview day.  Equipment checks, getting our equipment ready and making sure we arrive at location on time. Once we are there, it's set up time.

Cameras are set, microphones tested and given to the interviewer and interviewee.  Lights are set to give the best picture and before you know it we are ready to roll.

There are always some interesting things that happen.  If you listen carefully to Ryan's interview you will hear a tiny voice in the background.  It is Skylar, Ryan's daughter.  We interviewed Ryan in a two story room that had a balcony above.  Skylar was watching high above her Dad and wanted to contribute her answers too!

Shooting the interview is just a small part of what you see as the final product.  There are hours of creating graphics, editing the video, editing the audio tracks, creating animations, and much more.  The first episode of StandByLIVE is just over eight minutes long.  It took just over 40 hours to make it!
